Asset Inventory

List every asset the estate controls, at its date-of-death value — that date is the valuation standard courts expect. Assets that pass outside probate (life insurance with a named beneficiary, TOD accounts) are tracked separately.

“Not sure yet” is normal — verify from the deed or account paperwork; until then this asset stays out of your totals.
What's a "date-of-death value"? What the asset was worth on the day your loved one passed — courts use that date to value the estate, not today's prices.

Cashflow Ledger

Every movement of estate money in one place. Write descriptions the court can understand — "County filing fee for appointment petition", not "check".

Courts usually want these separate. Sell an asset? Its proceeds are principal; interest/rent while you hold it = income.

Summary of Account

The charge-and-discharge statement the court expects — assembled automatically from your assets and ledger.

Backup & Export

Your records live in this browser only — make backups a habit. A backup file can be restored on any device.

JSON backup / restore

Full data: all estates, assets, transactions, sales. Restore replaces everything in this browser.

Summary of Account (.csv)

The court-format report as a spreadsheet for your attorney or accountant.

The printable version is in the Account tab → Print.

Assets & Ledger (CSV)

Raw inventory and ledger tables for quick review.

Reminder: every week, or after any batch of changes, download the backup. Nothing is stored on any server — cleared browser data erases the ledger.

Import bank CSV

Parses in your browser — the file never leaves your device. Only Money in / Money out entries are created.
